Steel Armor Armadillo: TJX252.01A Pipe Jacking Machine Sleeve Is Perfect for Dealing with Hard Rock in the Ground Layer
Those who have worked on municipal projects have all encountered this frustrating problem: When the pipe jacking machine is advancing underground, the sleeve either gets stuck by the rocks or deviates, and the entire team has to stop working. The maintenance team has to descend into the well to repair it, which is both dangerous and costly, and the construction period can be delayed for several days. Our Xiangyu Baoyuan has addressed this pain point by designing an enhanced sleeve for the TJX252.01A pipe jacking machine. Using the special alloy steel integral forging technology, the sleeve wall is equipped with anti-deviation ribs, like giving the pipe jacking machine a navigation skeleton. The actual measurement for the Zhengzhou subway project shows that when continuously advancing 200 meters in sandy gravel ground, the sleeve deviation error is controlled within 3 centimeters, and the construction period is ahead of the original plan by a full week.
This sleeve is the "offensive armor" of the pipe jacking machine, mainly used in urban underground pipe galleries and cross-road tunnels that cannot be excavated openly. It is different from the exposed components of the excavator accessories, as it has to withstand various pressures in the dark underground. The greatest value is that it enables the pipe jacking machine to move in a straight line precisely and will not "break down" when encountering alternating hard and soft ground layers.
This sleeve has three core designs:
1.Roguelike Strengthening Rib - The inner wall of the sleeve is welded with eight longitudinal strengthening ribs, which can disperse pressure when encountering isolated rocks and avoid local deformation
2.Module Cutting Head - The front cutter disc adopts a quick-change design, and only the tooth seat module needs to be replaced after wear, reducing the cost by half
3.Intelligent Deviation Correction Interface - A laser target installation position is reserved, which can provide real-time feedback on the jacking posture, and automatic alarms are triggered when the deviation exceeds the limit
The experienced workers have summarized two practical experiences:
Listen to the sound of the sleeve every half an hour during the jacking process. If there is abnormal friction sound, stop immediately. When the oil temperature exceeds 70 degrees, slow down the jacking speed to give the sleeve a chance to "breathe"
Now, pipeline projects crossing highways, such as water supply pipelines, are specified to use this sleeve. Construction team member Liu said frankly: "Previously, pipe jacking was like opening a blind box. Now at least we have a plan, and we know that even the worst case can withstand a maximum ground pressure of 5 megapascals." In fact, whether it is the high-precision components of tower cranes or the pressure resistance of underground loaders, the principle is the same - good components must make people feel reliable.
