XUT545 Front Frame: The "Hardy Backbone" for Underground Ore Transportation, Specifically Addressing the Problems of Difficult Turns and Heavy Load Shaking
 
 
Product Overview
When transporting ore underground, everyone has encountered these troublesome issues: Narrow tunnels make it difficult to turn, the front frame cannot withstand heavy loads and is prone to deformation; The underground environment is damp and contains corrosive gases, and it rusts severely within a short period; Maintenance is even more troublesome as the parts interfaces are not universal, and it takes a long time to dismantle, causing delays and increasing costs.
 
Our xiangyu baoyuan has identified these problems and specially developed the XUT545 front frame components. They form a complete set with our Excavator Parts, Tower Crane Accessories, Aerial Work Vehicle Parts, and Underground Loader Parts, meeting any engineering component requirements. This frame model is XUT545, with a precise size of 576521631908mm. It is made of Q460C and Q355B steel plates combined. Don't underestimate this design; it offers much more flexible turning, does not shake under heavy loads, and is convenient to use over time. In mines, where equipment must not malfunction to achieve higher efficiency, a sturdy front frame is absolutely necessary.
 
Technical parameters
 
To be honest, this front frame is not just a simple welded iron block. It is the "backbone" of XUT545. Core components such as the engine and transmission are supported by it, and the driver's cab is also mounted on it. Even the hydraulic and electrical circuits for steering and cargo box lifting rely on it for layout fixation. Underground ore transportation involves navigating narrow tunnels or climbing steep slopes. A 4.5-meter-square or larger shaft is a common location. To transport 22 tons of ore up a 14-degree slope, a sturdy front frame is absolutely essential. The size of 5765*2163*1908mm was calculated repeatedly, as it must fit through the tunnel, not be too narrow to bear the weight, and have the correct height to fit the driver's cab and engine. The hinge design is particularly ingenious; the front frame and rear frame are connected by two vertical pins on top and bottom, allowing a 42-degree rotation. With just this one movement, the minimum turning radius of the vehicle is reduced to 3980mm. In a gold mine with narrow tunnels, there is no need to repeatedly turn around, and the daily ore transportation volume can increase by 15%. The material selection is also meticulous; Q460C steel plates are used in areas with high stress to ensure a tensile strength of over 800MPa, and Q355B steel plates are used in areas with low stress, making it sturdy yet cost-effective, 10% lighter than traditional frames, and running more fuel-efficiently.

The underground environment is harsh, damp, and contains sulfides, making the frame prone to rust. The surface of this frame is first sandblasted for rust removal, then coated with epoxy zinc-rich primer, and finally painted with polyurethane topcoat. Three layers of protection ensure a corrosion resistance level up to international C5-M standards, with no issues for 8 years of use. The operation duration can reach 15,000 hours, which is twice the industry average. The welding process is meticulous; laser cutting combined with robot welding ensures a 99.8% qualified weld rate, with virtually no cases of false welding or missed welding. Key parts use maintenance-free bearings and Dacromet coating bolts, eliminating the need to constantly apply oil and reducing the risk of rusting. This saves a lot of maintenance efforts.
There is also a thoughtful design. The frame is equipped with many quick-connect hydraulic and electrical interfaces. Automatic fire suppression systems, lighting equipment, and even 360-degree surround-view cameras can be installed. In one mine, a surround-view camera was added, reducing the blind area by 70% and enhancing safety. The front axle connection uses a swing bracket, allowing the front axle to swing laterally when traveling over uneven roads. The four wheels can all touch the ground, preventing skidding. Once in a coal mine inclined shaft, the vehicle ran at full capacity for 8 hours without any deformation or loss of power.
For the mine, this frame is truly cost-effective. It is 30% cheaper than imported ones, yet has a 50% longer lifespan. It also saves effort during operation, and with the vehicle's automatic gear shifting, the single-shift transportation capacity can increase by 20%. Over the course of a year, there are only a few maintenance occasions, and the total life cycle cost can be reduced by over 40%. Whether it's a metal mine or a coal mine, as long as it's for underground transportation, this frame can withstand the load.
